WE ARE BUILDING AN ORGANIZATION WITH PURPOSE NOT ONLY SPREADING HIGH IMPACT SERVICES AND PRODUCTS, BUT ALSO DOING SO THROUGH POSITIVE COMMUNICATION… “WALKING THE TALK”.

WE BELIEVE RESPECT CREATES RECIPROCAL RESPECT. HERE ARE COMMUNICATION TOOLS WHICH WE PRACTICE INTERNALLY AND AIM AT SHARING IN ALL OUR INTERACTIONS WITH CLIENTS AND PARTNERS.

  1. To better express ourselves, we practice nonviolent communication (NVC), which encourages us to examine how we think, listen and communicate both internal and with others. NVC proposes that people identify shared needs, revealed by the thoughts and feelings that surround these needs, and collaborate to develop strategies that meet them. For that, there are four main step to achieve the skill of NVC:

1.1 Observation: we need to observe the environment, actions and behaviors around us at the moment. We need to distinct observation from evaluation and combine them two to be able to accept and hear criticism.

1.2 Feelings: get to know our feelings in face of situations and be able to express them, which will lead us to more easily connect with others.

1.3 Needs: NVC theory supposes all human behavior stems from attempts to meet universal human needs and that these needs are never in conflict.

1.4 Request: request what you need according to what you observe and what you feel. The request must be clear, positive and concrete.

  2. Active listening is the skill of hearing attentively while someone speaks, while reflecting back what this person just said. It involves also the practice of not being judgmental. To develop this skill, you can train to:

2.1 Make eye contact - approximately 60% to 70% of the time, as it increases the power of being focused.

2.2 Avoid interrupting at maximum, so the speaker does not lose his development of thoughts.

2.3 As listening, be opened and neutral, without judgements and stereotypes ideas.

2.4 Rephrase what has been perceived, ask for feedback, to improve the quality of interactions and avoid misunderstanding.
